What Eidetic is — and isn't.
No. Clicking is just the first step — the value is in retrieval. A scanner gives you a file. Eidetic gives you an answer. Ask a natural‑language question and Eidetic returns the relevant fact from the relevant document, instantly.
Google Drive and WhatsApp ask you to remember where you saved something. Eidetic only asks for one moment — click the document. After that, you don't organise, you don't search, you don't scroll. You just ask. "When does this expire?" "What was the dosage?" The answer comes back immediately.
Yes — including doctor's prescriptions and notes. Quality varies with the source, and Eidetic flags items that may be hard to retrieve so you can re‑capture them.
Bills, prescriptions, IDs, contracts, tickets, receipts, visiting cards, school circulars, warranty cards, handwritten notes, GST invoices, insurance documents — if it's a piece of paper that matters, Eidetic handles it.
Connect once using a secure pairing code from Settings. After that, forward anything to Eidetic's WhatsApp number — any image, any PDF, any document, or even a plain text message. It saves to your vault automatically, fully processed and ready to ask questions about. You stay in WhatsApp; Eidetic handles the rest in the background. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.
Yes — on Gold. Every person gets their own private vault, plus access to a shared family vault for documents that belong to everyone. Save something to the shared vault once and anyone on the plan can ask questions about it. Private memories stay private. You control what goes in the shared vault and what doesn't. Two members are included on Gold; add more for ₹349/month each.

Where Eidetic works today.
Hindi voice input and Hindi text questions are available on the Silver plan and above. More Indian languages are on the roadmap: Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali. The goal is for you to ask in the language you actually think in.
Android first — that's where most of our users are. iPhone is on the roadmap and coming. Write to us at support@eidetic.in to join the iOS waitlist.
Yes, for now. Document understanding and Q&A both run on cloud language models — so questions and new saves both need a connection. Your documents and memories are stored on your device and always available to browse offline.
Not on the immediate roadmap. The phone is where you encounter the documents that matter — we're optimising for that.
Privacy
Where your data lives.
Only you. Everything is stored on your phone, encrypted. Nothing is uploaded to any server without your action. We don't run ads, we don't sell data, and your documents will never train any AI model. Your phone is the vault.
No. Nothing you click is used to train any model — ours or anyone else's. We have contractual commitments with our model providers that your data is excluded from training.
Yes. Delete individual memories, your full vault, or uninstall the app — your data leaves with it. Nothing is held on our servers.
No. We don't run ads. We don't sell data. We make money only from people who choose to pay for Silver or Gold.

What it costs and why.
The free tier is permanent — not a trial. 50 saves and 10 questions a day is enough to experience the product properly. Paid plans (Silver at ₹499/mo, Gold at ₹899/mo) unlock higher limits, WhatsApp integration, all languages, and shared family vaults. No ads. Ever.
300 saves per month, 100 questions per day, WhatsApp save & ask, all languages (Hindi, English, and more), and priority support. ₹499/month.
Gold includes 2 members — each gets their own private vault plus access to a shared family vault for household documents (bills, IDs, school papers, prescriptions). You control who can access which documents. Additional members can be added for ₹349/month each.
Yes. Change or cancel from Settings. If you downgrade, your data stays on your device — only the cloud copy and shared vault access are removed.
Reliability
What happens if it doesn't know.
Eidetic answers only from documents you've scanned, never from outside knowledge. If it's uncertain, it tells you. If multiple documents could match, it asks which you mean. You can always open the source to verify.
Eidetic flags low‑quality scans in your library so you can re‑capture them. Better to know upfront than to fail at the moment of retrieval.
Your data is on your phone, in standard formats. We'd publish an export tool and a self‑hosted retrieval shell before any shutdown. You'd never be locked in.
